Supersoul

The second thing I got turned onto this weekend (very late as it turns out) is the Supersoul label. Supersoul is a Berlin label run by Xaver Naudascher (second best techno name after Morgan Geist), whose back catalogue is being compiled by DFA offshoot, Death From Abroad. The tunes are deadly. Big, bassy, solid slabs of filth with beautifully random noises sparking all over the place. They're also really nicely put together, constantly changing with massive riffs dropping seemingly every 32 bars. Really impressive. Listen to Naudascher's Lost and Mogg and Naudascher's Moon Unit Pt 2 - the first two tracks here:

Be my love, we will be gods on nite flights

Got turned on to this round someone's house after playing Stag and Dagger festival last week. Shamefully, part of it's appeal is that it's about 128bpm so you can mix it easily with 4/4.
